‘An apple a day keeps the doctor away ‘
Makes two portions.
What you need
1 big red apple
1 tablespoon of peanut butter
1 Fruit Heroes fruit bar – the flavour your children like the most
Cut the apple in slices and remove the seeds.
Put peanut butter on the apple rings.
Put two apple rings with ½ a slice fruit bar between.
The sandwich is ready to serve.
If you want to prepare the sandwiches ahead of time or use it for your children’s lunch boxes, brush the apple rings with a bit of lemon juice so they do not turn brown.
